As for others, I saw Nurzatil Sharleeza participate in the Treasure Hunt, Amirah (kelas 506) - I'm not sure if she was also playing, but I saw her while Qamarul Hafiz (Bob Bebeh) eating/resting at the cafe... Me? Got to attend the class... only managed to visit during our break... (we only have a Lunch break) . My course is the only course that was said as having class on that day.... (our chemistry teacher said so)

Being overly fed and having too much fun all this while since the day I left the school, has made me less of a human. And so, I went beyond the comfort zone and got a job. It’s a weekend job, actually.

Yeah, I could hardly believe it myself. The job is fun indeed, exactly the one (of the ones) I wanted to do. It’s a job as a “waiter” at one renowned franchised kopitiam, which famous of its white coffee (no coffee for me, though) and kaya and butter toast, just beside my favourite cinema, at a super convenient shopping mall near my place. The cool thing is that it’s a weekend job. I only need to work on Saturdays and Sundays and sometimes, once in a while on Friday. It’s convenient enough and my parents don’t mind as long as there is flexibility with my studies. They did ask quite a few times already, if I am really doing okay with the job. Money wise, it’s not that cool. I get RM 4 per hour in which I work for 12 hours a day and only to be getting around RM400 a month. But what’s more important is that learn about the management of an eatery. I’ve been dreaming of running my own deli café where I can go to at just anytime I want to finish up my work when my KLCC apartment and KLCC office (oh my god, I’ve been dreaming too much, too much!) out of the mood! If it happens to be a reality, I beg you guys not to be a friendly regular who seeks discount and exemption of charges every time. Back to reality, working, there are difficulties, of course. Communication is the real problem. There are 3 Indian nationals, 2 from China, 2 Indonesians, one unidentified (I really need time to speak their languages) and two locals, not including me. It’s much of an issue when the two China nationals, very poor at English (although one of them is studying English at the college I’ll be studying at) and know not a word in Bahasa Malaysia except makan, mati, satu-dua-tiga, nasi, rendang, kopi, nasi lemak and roti bakar. Speaking with them is more like speaking English in France to the French people. Perhaps, a little bit harder.

The thing that I like about this job is the satisfaction when the customers are happy with our service. Of course, sometimes they get dissatisfied when the late-come diners on the next table get the roti before them. To please the customers without being annoying is pretty a difficult thing but you can tell that they are satisfied with your service if you see that enormous smile on their face. The most important thing is to be efficient by doing things right and be effective by doing the right things. The job tires me out every weekend. Every night after work, I would spend the rest of the night on the Ogawa massage chair before going to bed while keeping my eye open watching TV. Customers never stop coming in, most of them are regulars and movie goers having a tea or coffee with roti bakar before having a movie at that favourite cinema. (Hey, it’s everybody’s favourite cinema after all, although there is a new more sophisticated cinema) The legs are the main part of the body which get tired as there is no space and time for me to sit and ease the tension on the legs. Or maybe, I need to lose some weight. You know, F=ma theory.

For whatever reason, I think I gonna keep this weekend job untill I end my pre-U studies. Note: By the time this post being published, the two locals have already resigned to resume their studies. So vacancy is available, any taker?
